Your day as a BodY Shop TechnicianAs a Full-Time Body Shop Technician at Fox CDJR Taylor, your role will involve repairing vehicles according to estimates and adhering to manufacturer standards, ensuring the highest quality of workmanship. You will prepare vehicles for body repair work, demonstrating your attention to detail and commitment to excellence. Effective communication is essential; you will notify management of any additional repairs needed and any challenges that may arise, potentially impacting the quality of the job or the promised completion time. Additionally, you may be assigned other duties as required, allowing you to contribute to the overall success and efficiency of our body shop team.

Requirements for this Bod Shop Technician jobTo be successful as a Full-Time Body Shop Technician at Fox CDJR Taylor, candidates should possess a solid foundation in automotive repair, supported by a one-year certificate from a college or technical school, or three to six months of relevant experience and training. Proficiency in the use of body shop tools and equipment is essential, along with a keen ability to read and interpret repair estimates and manufacturer guidelines. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are crucial for identifying and addressing any issues that may arise during the repair process. Effective communication is necessary for collaborating with team members and notifying management of any additional repairs or challenges.

Knowledge and skills required for the position are:
