Inventory Control Specialist

As an Inventory Control Specialist, you will play a key role in maintaining accurate inventory records, organizing warehouse and yard spaces, and ensuring efficient operations. Responsibilities

• Receive and process inbound stock shipments, ensuring accurate documentation and proper placement of inventory items
• Conduct regular cycle counts and assist with warehousing and relocating inventory as needed
• Organize and maintain warehouse and yard areas to promote efficiency and safety
• Assist with customer pickups and prepare outbound freight for shipping
• Maintain positive relationships with both internal and external customers
• Utilize the online inventory system and website to keep inventory records and images accurate and up to date

Qualifications

• Experience with heavy-duty parts preferred
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Ability to safely operate a forklift; previous experience strongly preferred
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory management systems
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs or more
• Availability to work 40 hours per week, including some late shifts and weekends as needed
• Effective communication skills
