JOB DESCRIPTION
Delivery Driver – Full-Time
The Delivery Driver position is responsible for providing internal customer service between our Warehouse and our Retail Stores. The Delivery Driver will be responsible for moving goods from the Warehouse to individual retail store locations across several states. Additionally, the delivery drive may assist in material handling in the Warehouse, be responsible for loading and unload their delivery truck, and potentially assisting in setting up new store locations in and out of state. Lastly, the Delivery Driver is expected to maintain a clean driving record and exercise caution and good judgement when driving.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS include, but are not limited to:
§ Loads and unloads truck at Warehouse and/or store locations
§ Collecting and loading stock in a manner that prevents breakage and/or product loss
§ Document and log work/rest periods and miles spent driving and retain fuel/toll receipts
§ Works independently, or as a part of a team, to ensure deliveries are timely and organized
§ Ensures that the truck has sufficient fuel at all times.
§ Responsible for completing, storing, and submitting all necessary documentation
§ Reporting all vehicle-related issues for urgent attention
§ Ability to utilize and understand GPS map software
§ Ensures compliance with all road and transportation rules
§ Assists Warehouse with movement of product and deliveries
§ Ability to ensure that strict delivery deadlines are met
§ Upholds all company policies and practices
§ Performs basic maintenance as requested while on routes; i.e. replacing light bulbs, building shelving units, etc.
§ Performs/completes other duties or special projects as assigned
Requirements:REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS (required for candidates to be considered)
Must be 18 years of age or older
Valid, unrestricted Chauffeur’s License
Ability to pass a pre-employment DOT Drug Screen and Physical
Clean and unrestricted Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)/Driving Record
Ability to work a flexible schedule that meets the needs of the business, including but not limited to driving long hours, across multiple states, and on/around/during evenings, weekends and/or holidays, including regular overnight trips
Ability to provide proof of eligibility to work legally in the United States

Ability to receive feedback and take action when appropriate.
WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Must be able to continuously to stand/walk, push/pull, lift/carry up to 75 pounds, utilize fine finger movement (i.e. keyboard operating, writing, etc.) and tactile/touch to assist with products/loading and unloading/equipment/etc., and grasping/gripping/holding with hands and/or fingers.
Must be able to continuously drive or travel, lift and/or carry up to 75 pounds, or sit/remain in a seated position during job performance.
Must be able to frequently bend at the waist, climb/work at heights (i.e. step ladders, ladders, etc.), kneel and squat, lift and/or carry up to 75 pounds, and reach overhead with arms raised above shoulder height/forward reaching.
Must be able to occasionally balance on uneven surfaces/ground, lift and/or carry up to 75 pounds.
Must be able to continuously communicate with store employees, co-workers, vendors, either in-person or over the phone, including speaking, hearing, and sight in order to assist customers.
While working, this position may be exposed to dust, cleaning agents, truck exhaust when receiving and/or unloading deliveries, inadequate lighting at close of business, tolerance of noise from products and customers, tolerance of smells/scents of products (i.e. candles, potpourri, lotions, etc.), work outside, and work at heights in the stockroom or on the product floor.
EMPLOYMENT STATUS
This is a regular, full-time, hourly position that is deemed “non-exempt” by the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), and will typically work a minimum of 40 hours per week.
