Position: Project Coordinator
Location: Romulus, MI (Onsite up to 45 hours per week)

As a Project Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful execution and completion of specific projects. You will be responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, and control of projects, ensuring they align with company strategy and goals. This position reports directly to the Director of the Program Management Office, Americas.
Main Responsibilities:
- Manage inbound and outbound vehicle logistics and report daily status updates.
- Procure and track orders for parts, consumables, and tools.
- Lead the planning and implementation of projects, defining project scope, goals, and deliverables.
- Develop full-scale project plans, manage project budgets and resources, and schedule project timelines.
- Monitor and report on project progress to all stakeholders, providing regular reports on progress, problems, and solutions.
- Provide direction and support to the project team, implementing necessary changes to ensure project success.
- Track project deliverables using appropriate tools.
Qualifications:
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
- Proven experience in project management, project coordination, or purchasing.
- Proficiency with project management software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work and communicate effectively in a multicultural environment.
- Solid knowledge of both theoretical and practical aspects of project management, including project management techniques and tools.
- Experience in people management, strategic planning, risk management, and change management.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical or business field.
- Strong critical thinking, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience influencing, leading, and making key decisions.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team, adapt to changing situations, and handle stress.
- Familiarity with automotive (OEM) specifications, with specific knowledge of Ford preferred.
Requirements:
- A proactive, results-oriented attitude with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work in a shop floor environment as needed.
- Flexibility to work up to 10 hours per day and occasional Saturdays based on project requirements.
- Must be able to lift and carry items weighing up to 25 pounds.
- Reliable transportation to and from the worksite.
- Commitment to following all safety requirements.
