Sewer Construction Laborer (Full-Time)

As a leader in the industry, BLD Services LLC , an Azuria Water Solutions company, is a company that has been providing pipeline protection services since 2009. The pay range is $18.00–$25.00 per hour (based on experience).

The typical start time for this position is 6:00 AM and shifts generally range from 8 to 12 hours, Monday through Friday. Overtime should be expected as part of the regular work schedule.

This is a full-time position based in Detroit, MI , with work performed throughout Michigan, Northwest Ohio, and Northern Indiana.

What You'll Do:

• Assist with the preparation, operation, and thorough cleanup of sewer rehabilitation projects to ensure each job site is properly maintained and runs efficiently from start to finish.
• Safely enter and perform work in confined spaces, including sewer manholes and pipelines, while adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.
• Carry out physically demanding tasks in outdoor environments, often in varying and sometimes challenging weather conditions.
• Consistently follow established safety practices in alignment with company policies and industry regulations to promote a safe and compliant work environment.
• Collaborate closely with your crew leader and team members to complete daily assignments effectively, maintain productivity, and contribute to smooth on-site operations.

What We Need:

• Valid driver’s license required
• Must possess a Class A or B CDL license and be aligned with BLD’s motor vehicle standards or be willing to obtain one within 90 days of being hired.
• Ability to work in confined spaces and physically demanding environments
• Reliable, punctual, and willing to work 50–60 hours per week
