Zeus Concrete LLC is looking for a Diesel/Heavy Equipment Mechanic to perform maintenance on our fleet of Class 8 trucks and construction equipment

Responsibilities Include:

• Repair diesel trucks, trailers and heavy equipment in a timely and efficient manner
• Inspect brake systems, steering mechanisms, wheel bearings and other important parts to ensure that they are in proper working condition
• Perform routine maintenance such as changing oil, checking batteries and lubricating equipment and machinery
• Repairing and troubleshooting of major components such as engine, transmission, and differentials
• Tire repair
• Landing gear repair

Job Requirements:

• 2+ year of experience
• Basic set of tools
• Experience working on hydraulics, concrete mixer trucks, gravel train equipment and diesel trucks
• Experience working on heavy equipment such as loaders and excavators

Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week

Experience:

• Mechanical knowledge: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Preferred)

Ability to Relocate:

• Pontiac, MI 48342: Relocate before starting work (Required)

Willingness to travel:

• 25% (Preferred)
