Chassis Dynamometer Operator – 3rd Shift

Join a cutting-edge Vehicle Development Center as a Chassis Dynamometer Operator , where you'll play a vital role in vehicle benchmarking , instrumented vehicle testing , and vehicle-level engine calibration using a state-of-the-art 4WD emissions chassis dynamometer . This position is exclusively for the 3rd shift , ideal for candidates seeking night shift opportunities in automotive testing and vehicle development .

Key Responsibilities :

• Conduct vehicle testing on an advanced chassis dynamometer system for certification and development projects

• Perform preventive maintenance on test and support equipment

• Follow and maintain quality assurance procedures to ensure data integrity and compliance

• Assist with vehicle instrumentation , test setup , and data acquisition systems

• Work in collaboration with engineers , technicians , and other test personnel to meet project deadlines

Required Qualifications :

• Associate’s degree , Trade School , or Technical School diploma

• Proficiency with PC-based applications , including Microsoft Office

• Hands-on mechanical or electrical experience

• Proven experience operating a chassis dynamometer

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to work in a team environment

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Positive attitude with a strong desire to succeed

Preferred Qualifications :

• Fabrication experience (welding, metalwork, etc.)

• Exposure to emissions testing and combustion systems

• Hands-on engine testing experience

• Familiarity with Horiba testing equipment
