Job Description

Join a leading manufacturing facility in Ann Arbor, MI, specializing in high-quality superfinishing and honing systems. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on mechanical machine components and collaborate with a dedicated team of technicians.

Pay Range - $20 - $30

Responsibilities

• Build mechanical machine components according to blueprints.
• Install sub-assemblies and verify mechanical functions.
• Conduct final machine set-up.
• Collaborate with electrical and hydraulic technicians throughout the machine build process.

Essential Skills

• 4+ years of machine building experience.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Proficiency in electrical wiring and panel building.
• Experience with soldiering, TIG welding, mechanical assembly, and fabrication.
• Familiarity with pneumatics and electrical assembly.
• Knowledge of spindle building, gearboxes, alignments, aligning rails, and measuring.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in tube bending.
• Proficiency in MIG/TIG welding.
• Own set of basic tools and indicators.

Work Environment

Work on a shop floor with a team-oriented culture where collaboration and a willingness to learn are highly valued. The role operates on the 1st shift from 6 am to 2:30 pm, with occasional extended hours and Saturday shifts from 6 am to 2 pm

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ann Arbor, MI.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
