Interior Designer

Job Title: Interior DesignerMust Have Qualifications + Proficiency in interior design. + Experience with Revit and construction documents. + Ability to create floor plans. "Nice to have" Skills & Qualifications + 2+ years of experience in interior design or an Associate's Degree. + Familiarity with design plans, blueprints, building codes, and regulations. + Experience with multi-family, apartment, restaurant, clinic, or other commercial projects is a plus. Job Description This Interior Designer will lead the design process for diverse projects including multi-family buildings, apartments, credit unions, restaurants, clinics, and other commercial buildings. The role involves both design and business development with clients, working closely with architects, civil engineers, mechanical engineers, and construction teams. The position requires a blend of independent and collaborative work, focusing on concept design creation, field verification, design development, design documents, and consultant coordination. Responsibilities + Coordinate and communicate with clients on project goals and requirements. + Sketch preliminary design plans and layouts. + Create 3D visualizations using design software programs. + Specify materials and furnishings such as lighting, furniture, wall finishes, flooring, and plumbing fixtures. + Create timelines for interior design projects. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Portage, MI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.63 - $36.06/hr.
