Job Overview
The Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit is seeking a board-eligible or certified Gastroenterologist. Henry Ford Medical Group is one of the nations largest group practices, comprising 1,900 physicians and researchers across more than 40 specialties. The division employs 40 physicians and offers outpatient clinics, endoscopy services at Henry Ford Hospital and seven suburban satellites, as well as inpatient consultative services at Henry Ford Hospital and Henry Ford West Bloomfield Hospital.
Responsibilities
- Evaluation and management of patients with inflammatory bowel disease
- Teaching fellows, residents, and students in Gastroenterology and Hepatology
- Supervision of IBD-focused mid-level providers
- Participation in clinical trials as a sub-investigator
- Engagement with the Crohns and Colitis Foundation
- Collaborate multidisciplinary with colorectal surgeons and maternal-fetal-medicine colleagues
Academic appointment through Wayne State School of Medicine will be based on training and experience.

Qualifications
- Completion of an ACGME-approved Internal Medicine residency program
- Completion or current enrollment in an ACGME-approved Gastroenterology fellowship program
