Role Summary

The Events Coordinator builds a pipeline, converts leads, and stewards clients from discovery to signed agreement to flawless handoff for planning and production.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the sales pipeline for wedding and event planning services across Silver, Gold, and Platinum packages
• Cultivate relationships with vendors, venues, and corporate buyers to create referral and partnership channels
• Conduct client consultations, scope needs, and present tailored planning solutions
• Represent the brand at networking events, expos, and trade shows to drive awareness and lead generation
• Maintain client satisfaction through consistent communication and clear next steps
• Keep proposals, agreements, and timelines organized and on schedule in the CRM

Sales Targets and KPIs

• Consistently close five new sales per week across lines of business
• Maintain a healthy pipeline of at least three times your monthly revenue goal
• Hold a set number of qualified discovery calls and proposal meetings each week
• Keep CRM data current with notes, next actions, and forecast dates

Qualifications

• Education: High school graduate
• Experience: 1 to 2 years in sales, account management, or business development; experience in event services or related industries preferred

Skills:

• Excellent communication and relationship building
• Proficiency with CRM tools such as Salesforce or Zoho, and with Microsoft Office
• Strong organization, time management, and follow-through
• Goal orientation with the ability to meet weekly close targets

Other:

• Familiarity with Michigan, Maryland, Virginia, and the surrounding areas is a plus
• Passion for social impact, workforce development, and memorable client experiences

Success Indicators

• Weekly close target met or exceeded
• On time, accurate proposals and agreements
• Positive client satisfaction scores and repeat or referral bookings
• Clean, up-to-date CRM with reliable forecasts

Schedule

• Flexible scheduling with some evenings and weekends for client consults and events
• Mix of field-based networking, venue walk throughs, and remote work
