Industrial Maintenance Mechanic (Heavy Manufacturing)

Join Real Alloy on 2nd or 3rd shift at our North Plant in Coldwater, where you’ll keep complex industrial systems running safely and efficiently. You’ll handle new installs, troubleshoot issues, weld as needed, and work from elevated positions using mobile equipment, hand tools, and power tools. You’ll apply diagnostic tools and read blueprints to get to the root cause fast.

What you’ll do
- Diagnose and correct equipment problems across mechanical, electrical/electronic, and pneumatic systems.
- Install, repair, inspect, test, calibrate, adjust, maintain, modify, construct, clean, and service production and support equipment.
- Work with recording/control systems and related instrumentation.
- Plan work using prints, drawings, diagrams, manuals, and applicable codes.
- Lay out, assemble, and wire components for system installs, replacements, and repairs.
- Conduct and document tests, including temperature and combustion surveys.
- Erect and remove ladders and scaffolding; operate material handling equipment/vehicles safely.
- Maintain records and logs such as maintenance work orders, calibration documents, and calculation sheets.
- Follow all safety rules and company policies.
- Meet all Monthly Safety Leading Indicator Requirements as spelled out in the Rewards and Recognition Program.

- Team player who can also work independently with minimal supervision
- Clear written and verbal communication; respectful collaboration
- Minimum 2 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or foundry environment
- PLC experience is a plus
- Foundry experience is a plus
