Key Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle recruitment and onboarding for production, technical, and administrative roles.
• Oversee employee relations, including grievance resolution, disciplinary actions, and conflict management.
• Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with labor laws and company standards.
• Coordinate and facilitate training programs focused on safety, skills development, and compliance for all employees.
• Administer compensation and benefits programs, ensuring competitiveness and equity across manufacturing roles.
• Drive performance management processes, including goal setting, reviews, and development plans for plant staff.
• Support a safe working environment by collaborating with operations on health and safety initiatives and compliance.

Recommended Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a manufacturing environment
• Demonstrated expertise in employee relations, talent acquisition for production roles, and performance management
• In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and HR best practices applicable to manufacturing
• Strong understanding of manufacturing operations, safety regulations, and workforce planning in a production setting
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
• Proficiency with HRIS and data analytics for workforce reporting and strategic planning

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience managing HR in a unionized manufacturing environment.
• Lean Six Sigma certification or experience applying lean principles to HR processes.
• Proficiency in a second language relevant to the local workforce (e.g., Spanish).
• Demonstrated experience with OSHA compliance and developing safety culture initiatives.
• Background in developing and implementing apprenticeship or skilled trades training programs.
