Crew Leader

Serene Landscape Group, a leading company in the landscape industry, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Crew Leader to join our team in Plymouth. The successful candidate will report to the Production Manager and will be responsible for leading a landscape crew to deliver high-quality services. Our company prides itself on maintaining a safe and professional work environment, and we are looking for someone who can uphold these standards while working efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a landscape crew, ensuring tasks are completed with a sense of urgency and to the highest standard.
• Use a variety of landscape tools, including hedge trimmers, edgers, blowers, tractors, skid steers, and chainsaws.
• Accurately complete paperwork and digitally track materials and labor on a daily basis.
• Identify and differentiate between wanted and unwanted vegetation.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and procedures at all times.
• Maintain a clean and safe job site, taking care to avoid damage to existing landscape and property.
• Take responsibility for company-provided equipment, tools, and vehicles, ensuring they are well-maintained and cared for.
• Work independently while maintaining excellent communication with team members and supervisors.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in planting, landscape, or design build.
• At least 1 year of leadership experience managing a landscape crew.
• Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize work and perform several tasks concurrently with ease and professionalism.
• Proficiency in using power and hand tools.
• Ability to lift/carry more than 50+/- pounds.
• Comfortable working in situations near direct automotive traffic.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Compensation

The compensation for this full-time position is $25.00 - $30.00 per hour , with eligibility for overtime.
