• Assignment Duration: 19 weeks
• Start Date: September 28, 2025
• End Date: February 7, 2026
• Shift: Afternoons, 3:00pm – 11:30pm
• Schedule: Monday–Friday and every other weekend
• Hours per Week: 40 (guaranteed)
• On-Call: No
• Block Scheduling: No
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2120 - $2180

Radiologic Technologist Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Registered in Radiography with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or registry eligible (must obtain ARRT certification within 6 months if eligible)
• Current BCLS Healthcare Provider certification
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech)
• Level I or II Trauma experience, including operating room (OR) assignments
• Proficiency with GE, Carestream, OEC C-Arms, and Cerner technology
• Maintained required hours of continuing education
• Ability to provide clinical support to both pediatric and geriatric patients
• Strong communication, teamwork, and customer service skills

Radiology Job Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiologic procedures under the supervision of a Radiologist to evaluate pathological conditions
• Explain imaging procedures and prepare patients for exams
• Review clinical data and obtain additional patient history as needed
• Prepare procedure rooms and maintain adequate stock and supplies
• Set up equipment and perform radiologic procedures, including portable imaging in ER and OR settings
• Administer intravenous contrast media and monitor for adverse reactions
• Demonstrate radiation protection principles and ALARA techniques
• Prepare and set up sterile equipment and supplies for procedures
• Follow infection control protocols and ensure patient safety
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality at all times
• Complete all required documentation, logs, and patient records accurately
• Educate and mentor new hires and radiology students as needed
• Resolve image exceptions and ensure high-quality image delivery to PACS
• Complete study indexing in the Radiology Information System (RIS)
• Review and confirm clinical protocols with the Radiologist prior to studies
• Demonstrate healthcare team standards of excellence and customer service values
