Position: Product Owner AI/ML Strategy (Onsite)
Location: Phoenix, AZ
Duration: 12+ Months

Job Description

Experience: 5+ years in product management, preferably in travel, finance, or lifestyle platforms

Key Skills & Expertise:

• Proven experience managing data-driven products and working knowledge of ML principles and model lifecycle.

• Strong grasp of customer segmentation, targeting, recommendation, and real-time personalization engines.

• Skilled in data synthesis and clear product narrative communication to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Proficient with SQL, JIRA, Confluence; familiarity with Tableau/Power BI and basic Python.

• Understanding of ML tools (ML Studio, GitHub Copilot, Elastic Search), model explainability (SHAP, LIME), and cloud platforms (GCP including BigQuery, Vertex AI).

• Knowledge of data pipelines, ETL/ELT, and software/model development lifecycles.

• Experience with security, compliance (GDPR, data privacy), model governance, and risk management.

• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities:

• Define and drive product strategy and roadmap for AI/ML-powered personalization products.

• Collaborate with data science and engineering teams to build, deploy, and monitor ML models impacting customer experiences.

• Translate data insights and model outputs into actionable product features across planning, booking, marketing, servicing, and lifestyle applications.

• Partner with compliance and governance teams to ensure risk mitigation and regulatory adherence.

• Enable data pipelines, experimentation frameworks, and real-time personalization in collaboration with engineering.

• Advocate for AI-powered tools adoption across business units, aligning stakeholders around data-driven decision making.

• Lead in Agile PI Planning sessions to prioritize features, manage dependencies, and align team delivery capacity
