We're seeking a seasoned Senior Business Analyst to join our TEAM! In this role, you'll analyze business data, develop project plans, assist with contract and operational strategies, and identify future opportunities, including RFPs and RFIs.

The ideal candidate brings strong leadership and contract management experience, is confident in presentations, and communicates effectively from big-picture strategy down to detailed execution.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Apply business process improvement practices to re-engineer methodologies/principles and business process modernization projects.

- Assist in the application of activity and data modeling, transaction flow analysis, internal control and risk analysis, modern business methods, and performance measurement techniques.

- Assist in establishing standards for information systems procedures.

- Develop solutions to a variety of complex problems.

- Develop and apply organization-wide information models for use in designing and building integrated shared software and database management systems and data warehouses.

- Follow Information Management guiding principles, cost savings, and open system architecture objectives.

- Review and analyze business data.

- Audit contract processes.

- Support operations with sourcing insights and recommendations.

- Communicate clearly and provide concise recommendations on next steps

- Monitor upcoming business opportunities, including RFPs and RFIs.

- Manage special projects as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in related field.

- 5-7 years of relevant professional experience required.

- Equivalent combination of education and experience considered in lieu of degree.

- Master's degree required; preferred in Human Services or Business.

- At least 6 years of people management experience.

- At least 6 years of contract management experience.

- Skilled at delivering clear, concise, and effective presentations.

Preferred Requirements:
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint.

Home Office Requirements:

- Maximus provides company-issued computer equipment

- Reliable high-speed internet service

Pay Transparency


Maximus compensation is based on various factors including but not limited to job location, a candidate's education, training, experience, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value analysis including seniority and merit systems, as well as internal pay alignment. Annual salary is just one component of Maximus's total compensation package. Other rewards may include short- and long-term incentives as well as program-specific awards. Additionally, Maximus provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and paid time off. Compensation ranges may differ based on contract value but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience. An applicant's salary history will not be used in determining compensation. Maximus will comply with regulatory minimum wage rates and exempt salary thresholds in all instances.
