Event Staff Security
- Evenings / Weekends
- Limited Day shifts
- Scheduled for a minimum 4-6 events per month
- Rate of Pay: $18.00/hour site dependent

- FREE PARKING / SHUTTLE SERVICE offered to transport employees to and from various designated parking locations to certain event venues downtown in Grand Rapids.
- Safety and wellbeing of patrons, guests, and performers.
- Hospitality Security brand with all clients, guests, and co-workers.
- Access Control
- Must follow venue specific guidelines.
- Foot Patrol
- Reliability- Report for your shift on time, presentable, and in the prescribed uniform.
- Friendly Personality- Being able to balance our expectations of outstanding customer service while maintaining client policies and enforcing rules.
- Following Company and Client Policies- Be able to read and interpret written post guidelines, follow procedures as outlined and ensure all tasks are completed throughout the shift.
- Use of De-escalation Techniques- Being able to defuse situations through verbal judo and other communication tactics.
- Must be at least 18 years old or older.
- Must have a high school diploma or GED.
- May NOT have any felony convictions and must be able to pass a criminal background check in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Must be available to work at minimum 4+ events per month.
- Must have excellent customer service and verbal communication skills.
- Physical Requirements include:
- Must be able to stand or walk for 4-8 hour shifts.
- Must be readily able to respond to emergency situations.
- Must be able to work in or outdoors during all seasons.
- Must be able to hear conversations (in person or via 2-way radio) in noisy environments.
- Must be able to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
