What Your Day Looks Like

• Partner with product teams to build standard work, clear documentation, and cost-efficient processes that scale.
• Guide capital equipment planning—from technical justification to implementation—ensuring capability aligns with production goals.
• Engineer and refine manufacturing processes and tooling for current production and new product introductions.
• Lead APQP activities using the Project Launch Guide and Autocam Production System (APS); drive continuous improvement and on-time PPAP.
• Author and maintain process documentation, work instructions, and cost standards with precision.
• Quote new components accurately and refresh existing customer quotes with current process data.
• Coach operators on machine operation, SPC, reading documentation, and practical problem-solving.
• Interpret complex prints and apply GD&T to ensure manufacturability and capability.
• Uphold QMS and EMS requirements and embed them in everyday practice.

What You Bring

• BS in Engineering (or equivalent technical background) with 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong analytical mindset with a passion for continuous improvement and lean methods.
• Fluency in technical documentation, cost estimating, and manufacturing systems/software.
• Clear communication skills across operators, peers, and leadership.
• Hands-on experience with APQP, GD&T, SPC, PFMEA, PPAP, root cause analysis, and process engineering in a manufacturing setting.

Physical & Work Environment

• Flexible schedule averaging approximately 50 hours per week.
• Split time between office and factory environments; comfortable with noise and oil exposure.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and perform tasks requiring both close and distance vision.
