Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence. This is a driving post. You will also support access awareness and customer service while reflecting our agile, reliable, innovative culture and commitment to teamwork, people first, and integrity.

Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology, media, and telecommunications location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout offices, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials when required, and report security-related concerns, maintenance issues, and/or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
• Support site operations by maintaining a visible presence, providing directions and assistance, and completing routine logs, reports, and/or other assigned documentation.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
