We are looking for a committed Physical Therapist to join our growing practice who will improve the patient’s quality of life and movement through prevention, diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Performs patient assessment, treatment, discharge planning and collaboration with other health care providers
- Identify and meet patients’ goals and needs
- Reduce the need for medications and provide alternatives to surgery
- Delegates aspects of patient care to support staff per PT/PTA MI Licensure Administrative Rules providing necessary communication and supervision
- Documents patient care and billing information timely and in accordance with department standards.
- Create fitness- and wellness-oriented programs tailored to patients’ specific needs
- Motivate patients during treatment in order to help them function optimally
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Physical Therapist bachelor degree OR Master's/Doctorate degree acquired from a Graduate from a CAPTE accredited Physical Therapy program.
- Current state of Michigan license certification
- Current knowledge of treatment practices
