Key Responsibilities

• Perform machine setup and changeovers according to production schedules and specifications.
• Install, adjust, and calibrate tooling, fixtures, and other equipment components.
• Conduct first-piece inspections and verify product quality and adherence to specifications post-setup.
• Troubleshoot and resolve setup-related issues, machine malfunctions, and process deviations.
• Optimize machine parameters and processes to improve efficiency, yield, and product quality.
• Document setup procedures, parameters, and maintenance activities.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience in machine setup, changeovers, and troubleshooting in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to perform minor repairs and adjustments on production equipment.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications.
• Familiarity with precision measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges) and quality control procedures.
• Ability to adhere to strict safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or vocational training in a relevant field preferred.

Bonus Qualifications

• Familiarity with PLC or CNC programming.
• Experience with CAD/CAM software.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles.
• Experience with advanced metrology equipment (e.g., CMM, vision systems).
