As our Internal Auditor , you'll be a trusted partner in helping us operate with excellence and accountability. You'll work closely with departments across the credit union to assess risks, strengthen internal controls, and ensure we're aligned with regulatory standards and our own high expectations.

What You'll Do:

• Maintain a working knowledge of all credit union policies, procedures, guidelines, and contracts.
• Under the guidance of the Audit Manager, conduct professional reviews of credit union activities in accordance with the audit schedule.
• Complete audit documentation, gather evidence, and prepare clear, actionable reports.
• Provide technical, regulatory, and operational support to management and staff to assess internal controls, identify gaps, and recommend improvements.
• Regularly follow up on outstanding audit findings to ensure timely resolution.
• Stay current on regulatory developments and audit techniques to bring fresh insights to your work.
• Report any compliance violations or potential risk issues to the Audit Manager.
• Support a culture of continuous improvement and shared accountability.
• Take on other duties as assigned, contributing wherever your strengths are needed.

Your Experience Includes:

• Minimum of two years of audit-related experience
• Certified Credit Union Internal Auditor
• Three years of satisfactory credit union experience
• High school diploma or GED required. Associate's degree in a related field preferred, but comparable auditing experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel. Also able to use Outlook, Teams Messaging, and various software programs specific to the job duties as well as those that are designed to process transactions or serve the membership.
• Must be able to write reports and other correspondence. Intermediate mathematical skills required (calculations and concepts involving decimals, percentages, fractions, etc.).
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• May need to travel between locations occasionally.

Expected Starting Salary Range: $26.97 - $32.45 per hour based on experience beyond what is required of the role and geographic location.
