Senior Director of Food & Nutrition Services

100 + Bed Acute Care Hospital

Near Knoxville, TN

Salary: $90,000 - $100,000

Relocation Required or Must Live Within the Knoxville Area, relocation assistance provided

We are seeking a hands-on Senior Director of Food & Nutrition Services to lead all dining and nutrition operations at a 100-bed acute care hospital just outside Knoxville, TN. This leader will drive operational excellence, financial performance, regulatory compliance, and patient satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee patient dining, retail, and clinical nutrition services

  • Manage budget, cost controls, and financial performance

  • Ensure compliance with Joint Commission, CMS, and food safety standards

  • Lead, develop, and hold managers and staff accountable

  • Improve patient satisfaction and overall service quality

  • Partner with hospital leadership and clinical teams

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required (Nutrition, Hospitality, Business, or related field)

  • 5+ years of healthcare food service leadership experience

  • Strong financial and operational management skills

  • ServSafe required (or ability to obtain)

  • Registered Dietitian preferred

This is an on-site leadership role. Candidates must reside within the Knoxville, TN area or relocate prior to start.
