Pay Details:

For Local Candidates pay rate: $65 to $70 /hr (If your permanent address is within 50 miles from the facility)

For Travelers/Stipend Candidates (If your permanent address is outside the 50 mile radius from the facility):
Blended Hourly W2 Pay Rate: $66
Blended Weekly Gross Pay Rate: $2,640
Minimum Hourly W2 Pay Rate: $29
Min. W2 Weekly Gross (Taxable): $1,480
Weekly Stipend (Non-Taxable): $1,160

For Traveler 1099 Candidates:
Pay Rate on 1099 to the Candidate: $70
Weekly 1099 Traveler Pay Rate: $2,800.00

Ambulance Paramedic Job Description

Provide emergency medical care and patient treatment within the scope of paramedic licensure, following established state regulations, protocols, and physician supervision guidelines. Deliver rapid patient assessments, administer emergency medications, and ensure safe, high-quality pre-hospital care.

Key Responsibilities:

· Perform patient assessments and establish care priorities during emergency situations

· Administer emergency medications in accordance with Wyoming State Scope of Practice guidelines

· Provide direct patient care and emergency medical treatment

· Accurately document patient assessments and treatments using the WATRS reporting system

· Maintain ambulances and stations in a clean, stocked, and service-ready condition

· Assist with patient care in other hospital departments when requested and within scope of practice

· Manage time, resources, and priorities effectively to meet department standards

Follow all safety, regulatory, and operational protocols

Requirements:

· Active Paramedic license required

· Knowledge of emergency medical procedures and patient assessment techniques

· Strong communication, critical thinking, and multitasking skills

· Ability to work effectively in high-pressure emergency situations

· Commitment to patient safety and quality care
