Part-Time Studio Production Assistant

$15/hour, 8-16hrs, Seasonal June -October

We are seeking a detail-oriented, organized and reliable Studio Production Assistant to join our growing floral preservation business. This is a part-time, hands-on role supporting the behind the scenes production process.

About the Role
You’ll work closely behind the scenes in our production workspace, assisting with changing press papers, boxing orders, as well as helping with studio organization and order flow. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with their hands, is organized and likes repetitive work.

Responsibilities

• Change pressing papers
• Carefully remove and manage flowers from presses
• Assist in maintaining an organized and efficient pressing workflow
• Prepare and assemble shipping materials (box making, packing supplies, etc.)
• Package finished orders with care and attention to detail
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the studio workspace and shipping station
• Support general production needs and workflow throughout the studio

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and patience with delicate materials
• Ability to work independently and stay organized
• Reliable and consistent availability
• Appreciation for art, design, or hands-on creative work
• Finds satisfaction in routine and behind the scenes work
• Ability to stand, move and lift 10-30 lbs.

Details

• Part-time (seasonal hours June-October, approximately 1-2 days/week, 9-5pm)
• Located at in-home studio in West Bloomfield, Michigan
• Training provided
