Salary Range: $48,000 - $69,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Holland that are seeking skilled Bookkeepers. Key Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accurate and timely payment and collection.
• Perform bank and credit card reconciliations to maintain financial accuracy.
• Manage payroll processing, including deductions, taxes, and reporting.
• Track and reconcile inventory movements and valuations specific to manufacturing materials and finished goods.
• Maintain accurate records of fixed assets, including depreciation schedules for manufacturing equipment.
• Prepare and file sales tax returns and other government compliance reports.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Support cost accounting activities by tracking production expenses and variances.

Recommended Qualifications

• 3+ years of bookkeeping experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
• Solid understanding of manufacturing cost accounting principles, including inventory valuation, COGS, and WIP
• Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, NetSuite) and ERP systems
• Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Meticulous attention to detail and high degree of accuracy in financial record-keeping

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite)
• Basic understanding of cost accounting principles
• Familiarity with inventory management and reconciliation
• Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting
