Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into a rewarding part-time opportunity supporting elementary students with speech and language needs for the 2026-2027 school year. In this engaging contract role, you will collaborate with established speech-language professionals to enhance student success across two elementary buildings. The assignment starts August 18th, 2026, and concludes June 11th, 2027.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Valid SLP licensure for Michigan, plus active Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
• School-based SLP experience strongly preferred
• Comfortable managing a diverse caseload for PreK-5th grade students
• Ability to build rapport and communicate effectively with young learners, families, and school staff
• Organized, self-motivated, and able to adapt to a collaborative team environment

Responsibilities:

• Provide targeted speech and language therapy services in both Schickler and Lynch Elementary Schools
• Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with communication needs
• Deliver direct therapeutic interventions three days per week, during the hours of 8:44 am to 3:40 pm
• Coordinate with existing full-time and part-time SLPs to ensure seamless overflow coverage and continuity of care
• Maintain thorough documentation, progress reports, and participate in IEP meetings as needed
• Foster positive, supportive relationships with students and staff
