Parts Counter Associate
Responsibilities: - Handle over-the-counter and over-the-phone inquiries and sales of Kubota and other manufacturer parts.
- Manage online parts inquiries and listings.
- Supply service technicians with necessary parts.
- Assist in preparing and maintaining merchandise displays.
- Verify receipt of shipments and organize inventory efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the parts department.
- Report shortages and expedite issues to the Operations Manager.
- Ensure departmental tools and equipment are in good working order.
- Participate in ongoing training provided by the dealership and manufacturers.
- Provide general support to the rental and sales departments as needed.
- Work schedule: Monday-Friday (7:50 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.), Saturday (8:00 a.m - 12:00 p.m. - Seasonal Rotation).
Experience, Education, Skills and Knowledge:
- 3+ years of previous parts sales experience.
- Proficient data entry and keyboarding skills.
- Strong knowledge of parts and machinery.
- Ability to use parts catalog computer applications.
- Team-oriented with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to lift items weighing up to 100 lbs.
- High school diploma or equivalent experience.
- Forklift license preferred.
Compensation:
- Pay: $17.50-19.00 per hour
- Expected Hours: 42-48 per week
