Mechatronics Engineer Intern
- Analyze high-impact, high failure rate components retrieved from the field.
- Support Mechanical, Electrical, Software, Mechatronics and Systems engineering design elements of product design.
- Develop documentation, requirements, and test procedures.
- Assist in mechanical, electrical, software and systems design for building, validating, and improving diagnostic tools.
- Interface with external vendors on tooling and systems development.
- Create standardized root-cause analysis technical reports, inline with supporting Quality, Production, and Engineering Design department feedback.
- Complete a 12-week final project presentation at the end of internship.
- Report the progress of tasks on a regular basis.
- Adhere to federal and state regulations.
- Adhere to all company policies, processes, and procedures.
- Performs other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.
- Predictable and reliable attendance.
- Undergraduate/graduate student working towards a Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Software, Mechatronics, Systems, or other relevant degree.
- Must be able to work a minimum of 30 hours per week up to a maximum of 40 hours per week.
- Minimum of 3.0 GPA required to enter the program.
- Must be actively enrolled in school.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Proficient with LLM-AI, Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.

- May need to lift and carry up to 30 pounds and/or position the body to reach items on the floor/below knee level or reach overhead.
- The person in this position needs to occasionally move about in industrial environments, and on uneven terrain.
- Works in a temperature-controlled office environment, with occasional work in outdoor weather conditions, and in industrial environments.
- The noise level in the work environment can be moderately loud.
- May be required to recognize small numbers, letters, symbols, and colors.
