Responsibilities

• Setting up the room with all necessary sterile instruments, equipment, and supplies.
• Ensuring strict sterile conditions are upheld throughout the procedure.
• Assisting with patient positioning, prepping the skin, and ensuring patient safety.
• Ordering, maintaining, and stocking all surgical supplies and equipment, and performing quality control.
• Providing instruments, medications, and other tools as needed, often as a "scrub" assistant.
• Monitoring vital signs and administering medications during the procedure.
• Assisting the team during emergencies and rapid activations.
• Correctly collecting and labeling specimens.
• Performing and documenting counts to ensure patient safety.

Requirements

Job Qualification

• One year of CVOR RN experience required, completed within the last two years.
• Active RN license in the state of practice (or compact state if applicable).
