About the Team: The Logistics team at ZF Axle Drives in Marysville plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of shipping and receiving processes. Reporting directly to the Logistics Manager, the Shipping & Receiving / Warehouse Supervisor will manage a team of up to 5 direct reports, which consists of hilo drivers, dispatchers, and dock workers. Their collaborative efforts are essential to maintaining efficiency and meeting production goals. This is a split shift position (working hours 12pm-9pm ).

What you can look forward to as a Shipping & Receiving / Warehouse Supervisor:

• Ensures effective employee relations. Provides employee coaching and development. Makes employment decisions. Resolves employee issues through problem resolution.
• Establish and maintain training plans and records for all direct reports.
• Directs transportation and storage of materials and commodities by developing methods and procedures to support both internal and external customers.
• Maintain open door communication and promote issue free environment.
• Develop and implement processes, procedures and work instructions for material handling and related activities, including EKanban.
• Maintain FIFO inventory in an orderly manner.
• Participates and supports launches of new parts and processes.
• Work with team on cost savings and continuous improvements in the area of logistics and measure the success or failure of these changes.

Your profile as a Shipping & Receiving / Warehouse Supervisor:

• Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of progressive, related experience.
• Strong interpersonal, facilitation, and organizational skills.
• Prior supervisor experience with union workforce and proficient in Excel and SAP or other MRP systems.
• Demonstrated leadership with the ability to lead people and get results through others.
• Proven ability to balance and achieve positive results in the areas of safety, quality, productivity, cost and employee relations.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
