Salary Range: $72,000 - $111,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and refine product designs and components using CAD software.
- Create detailed 2D manufacturing drawings and 3D models in accordance with industry standards.
- Select appropriate materials and manufacturing processes for optimal performance and cost-effectiveness.
- Conduct design for manufacturability (DFM) and design for assembly (DFA) analyses.
- Collaborate with manufacturing, production, and quality teams to ensure design intent and successful production.
- Generate and maintain technical documentation, including Bills of Material (BOMs) and specifications.
- Support prototyping, testing, and validation of new designs and design changes.
Recommended Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related technical field.
- Demonstrated proficiency in 3D CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Inventor, CATIA) and FEA tools.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes (e.g., machining, injection molding, sheet metal) and Design for Manufacturability (DFM) principles.
- Experience with prototyping, testing, and validation of mechanical designs.
- Knowledge of material properties and selection for various industrial applications.
- Ability to apply GD&T principles and interpret complex technical drawings.
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience with Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) principles.
- Proficiency in Finite Element Analysis (FEA) or other simulation software.
- Strong understanding and application of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
- Hands-on prototyping, testing, or fabrication experience.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles.
