Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Shift: 3rd Shift (Sunday - Wednesday, 9:30 PM - 7:30 AM)

Pay: Up to $33/hr. based on experience

Location: Hudsonville, MI

Job Summary:

This role performs highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment. The Maintenance Technician supports overall plant reliability and ensures equipment uptime to meet production goals.

Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair production machinery and facility equipment.
• Perform emergency or unscheduled repairs during production and complete scheduled maintenance during planned downtime.
• Apply mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic skills to troubleshoot and repair equipment issues.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals, schematics, and work orders to complete required tasks.
• Diagnose problems, replace or repair defective parts, and perform equipment testing and adjustments.
• Conduct regular preventive maintenance on machinery, equipment, and facility systems.
• Perform a variety of electrical, mechanical, machine, plumbing, and basic carpentry tasks.
• Use hand tools, power tools, diagnostic meters, and material-handling equipment.
• Identify faulty operations or defective materials and report issues to leadership.
• Follow all safety protocols and help maintain a clean, organized work environment.
• Support additional maintenance or facility-related projects as needed.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade school training in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance is a plus.
• Proven experience in maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of production machinery and facility equipment.
• Strong mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic skills.
• Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals, schematics, blueprints, and work orders.
• Experience performing preventive maintenance and emergency repairs.
• Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, diagnostic meters, and material-handling equipment.
• Ability to safely lift, move, and position heavy equipment or materials.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently or in a team.
• Strong communication skills and ability to report issues clearly to supervisors.
• Commitment to workplace safety and following established protocols.
