AI Sustaining Engineer Principal - AI Center of Excellence - Remote
Job Description
The Principal Artificial Intelligence (AI) Engineer is responsible for delivering on the modernization of Prime's AI capabilities through managing, optimizing, and developing practices that deliver business insights, create efficiency, and decrease operational costs. This position provides thought leadership, influences leaders, and champions innovative thinking to deliver on business strategy.
Responsibilities

Represent broad expertise in AI and Machine learning solutions to deliver on Prime's strategic priorities

Lead cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize AI solutions to drive significant business impact
-
Influence senior leadership in the organization on the direction and use of AI practices to drive efficiency and data driven decisions
-
Broaden overall awareness and understanding of AI capabilities and processes across the organization
-
Lead development for AI systems, may provide work direction to others on the team to align development efforts and priorities of subsystems

Minimum Qualifications
-
Bachelor's degree in computer science or related area of study, or equivalent combination of education and/or relevant work experience; High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
-
7 years of extensive technical experience in variety of application development, software development, machine learning or analytics

Additional Qualifications

Excellent written, technical, and verbal communication skills

Strong problem-solving and business analysis skills

Proven ability to thrive in an a rapidly changing environment

Proficient in SQL language and ability to design and create denormalized SQL data structures in a SQL Server environment

Ability to manage work direction and lead, influence, mentor, and provide feedback to others within team

Understanding of product/process engineering in a healthcare environment

Understanding of security implications of domain
Preferred Qualifications
-
Master's degree in engineering or related field
-
Experience working in environment with regulatory compliance requirements (HIPAA, PCI, etc.)
-
Previous experience working in a rapid iterative prototyping environment

Previous experience in PBM / health care industry

Potential pay for this position ranges from $124,000.00 - $211,000.00 based on experience and skills.
