What we are looking for
Our team is seeking an individual who is self motivated, organized and detail oriented to join our Evolve team. The primary focus for this role will be to lead other title agents and provide research into necessary title appropriate for our land acquisition work across the USA.. This position will be highly self motivated and will require a good understanding of land title and the appropriate state and federal procedures.
Responsibilities would include:
- Lead comprehensive title research and examination across complex or multi-parcel properties for surface acquisition projects.
- Interpret and analyze legal documents including deeds, title reports, leases, right-of-way agreements, and historical conveyances.
- Oversee preparation and review of title-related documents such as leases, curative instruments, and affidavits to ensure accuracy and legal compliance.
- Resolve complex title defects and coordinate with legal teams, surveyors, or abstractors as needed.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on federal and state-specific title standards and acquisition procedures.
- Mentor junior team members by providing training, guidance, and quality control on title research and documentation.
- Manage title due diligence for large-scale acquisition projects and interface directly with clients when needed.
- Ensure that all title documentation aligns with project timelines and regulatory requirements.

What we require
- 5+ years experience in title research and understanding
- Strong understanding of BLM, Mineral and Surface Title
- Experience in leading and mentoring other title professionals
- Ability to complete land title research, including interpretation of title and abstracts
- Ability to compile and prepare chains of title, and make abstracts of title with summaries of all matters and instruments of record
- Proven ability to be detail orientated and complete self-motivated work
- Experienced with a variety of land rights, licenses, leases, permits, and other real estate rights necessary for the origination, development, construction, operation, and maintenance of project facilities
- Strong understanding of non-government and government agency needs in support of the land title
- Experience with multiple industries and various regulatory bodies preferred
- Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office applications including Power Point, Word, Excel and Outlook
- Professionalism in handling confidential and sensitive information
