OTR Dry van Company driver (W-2) Job in Dearborn, MI by HMD Trucking

Requirements

• 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
• No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
• No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
• No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
• Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying

Drive coast-to-coast dry-van freight with HMD Trucking serving Dearborn, MI. In this OTR solo CDL-A role you’ll operate trucks under 3 years old outfitted with APUs, inverters and sleepers and average close to 2,500 miles per week.

Key responsibilities:

• Safely transport dry-van freight, maintain accurate logs and ensure timely deliveries.
• Perform thorough pre- and post-trip inspections and report maintenance to in-house teams.
• Maintain communication with dispatch and comply with routing and HOS rules.

Requirements & pay:

• Valid CDL-A and a minimum of 12 months verifiable driving experience. Compensation starts at 65 CPM, plus safety, inspection and referral bonuses, regular home time, and benefits including health, dental, vision, PTO and 401(k).
