FAQs About the Role

What will I do day-to-day?

• Set up and operate CNC milling machines with full independence.
• Work across both 3-axis and 5-axis platforms (required).
• Read and apply blueprints and GD&T to hit tight tolerances.
• Load, edit, and run programs (G-code/M-code) and perform changeovers.
• Troubleshoot issues and keep equipment in top shape with preventive maintenance.
• Measure precisely using micrometers, calipers, and hand metrology tools.
• Safely handle parts using a crane and best practices.
• Collaborate with engineering using CAD and CAM (GibbsCAM) workflows.

What experience is required?

• 5+ years working with CNC machines (required).
• Experience with Fidia C20, TPI 2000, Fanuc OiMD, Siemens, and Fadal controls (required).
• Strong shop math, communication, and attention to detail.
• Proven ability to meet deadlines and understand business impact.

Is aerospace background necessary?

Not required—previous experience in the Aerospace industry is a plus.

• CNC milling machine: 2 years (Required)

How is the job structured?

• Job Type: Full-time
• Schedule: 10-hour or 12-hour shifts; day shift/night shift; overtime; weekends as needed
• Work Location: In person
• Supplemental Pay: Bonus opportunities
