What You'll Do:

Work closely with physicians, nurses, and staff to ensure seamless patient care.

Assist with patient intake, including greeting and preparing patients, measuring vital signs, and documenting medical history.

Provide patient education on medications, disease management, home care, and special diets.

Support physicians during exams, procedures, and surgical preparations.

Perform phlebotomy, lab tests, EKGs (after training), and administer medications as authorized.

Assist with medical procedures such as X-rays, physical therapy, dressing changes, and suture removal.

Maintain accurate and ethical documentation in patient records.

Ensure smooth workflow by managing room turnover, scheduling, and coordinating follow-ups.

Act as a medical scribe when assigned.

Assist with administrative tasks, including managing logs for lab tests, prescription tracking, and medical record requests.

Uphold high standards of patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.

What We're Looking For:

Required Certifications & Licenses:

Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA)

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN)

Skills & Qualifications:

Strong organizational and problem-solving skills

Experience with EMR systems and Microsoft Office

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Commitment to exceptional patient service

Education & Experience:

Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program

Minimum of 1 year of experience in a physician's office (Urology experience preferred)

Physical Requirements:

Frequent lifting (1-25 lbs.), occasional lifting (26-50 lbs.)

Occasional pushing/pulling

Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the day
