Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of manufacturing engineers, fostering their professional development.
• Oversee the planning, execution, and successful delivery of manufacturing engineering projects.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize production processes, efficiency, and product quality.
• Manage departmental budgets, resources, and capital equipment procurement for manufacturing operations.
• Ensure strict adherence to safety regulations, quality standards, and industry best practices within engineering activities.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with production, quality, and R&D to support operational excellence and new product introductions.
• Develop and implement engineering strategies aligned with overall manufacturing goals and technological advancements.

Recommended Qualifications

• Strong engineering background with expertise in manufacturing processes, automation, and industrial systems.
• Proven experience leading, mentoring, and developing high-performing engineering teams.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex engineering projects from conception to implementation within a manufacturing setting.
• Expertise in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving capabilities to address intricate production and design challenges.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective cross-functional collaboration.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification
• Experience implementing Industry 4.0 technologies (e.g., IoT, advanced automation, digital twins)
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
• Proficiency with advanced data analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) for manufacturing insights
