Data Warehouse Architect

Position Summary Codeworks is seeking a Data Warehouse Architect to develop, maintain, and enhance automated data warehouse applications. This role will focus on ETL/data mart development, reporting, dashboards, and other BI solutions. The ideal candidate will work cross-functionally between ETL and BI tasks, ensuring data integrity and optimal performance. Experience with Snowflake and Databricks is highly preferred. Key Responsibilities- Design and develop data warehouse BI applications, including ETL and reporting solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
- Review and enhance data warehouse policies and practices.
- Perform audits, troubleshoot issues, and ensure compliance with standards.
- Provide technical expertise for project estimating, budgeting, and architecture design.
- Lead and mentor development teams, ensuring best practices and quality standards.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent technical study.
- 6+ years creating Data Warehouse BI applications, including ETL/data mart development, reporting, and dashboards.
- 2+ years of experience in Child Welfare Services, Juvenile Justice, or related areas.
- Strong SQL skills and experience with Teradata Studio or similar tools.
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
- Experience with Snowflake and Databricks.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and State of Michigan PMM/SUITE.
- Experience with end-user training and change management.

This range is subject to change based on job-related factors, including client requirements where applicable. All full-time Codeworks employees are eligible to enroll in the company’s medical, dental, vision, and life insurance plans. This position is a 1-year contract with possible extension. Location: Lansing, MI. Candidates must be local within 2 hours of Lansing and able to work hybrid (in-office 2 days per week). There is no remote-only option.
