Role Description

This is a full-time position as an Auditor at Pfeffer, Hanniford and Palka, CPAs. Our client base is primarily governmental entities. The role is located in Brighton, MI.

The Auditor is in a position of advanced technical aptitude and supervisory responsibilities. Those duties will include:

• Advanced technical knowledge of audit and accounting reporting standards

• Working with other staff and coordinating the day-to-day duties of planning, fieldwork and wrap-up

• Stays current on technical and industry developments and standards while evaluating potential impacts on their client engagements

Qualifications

• Valid Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license (Preferred)
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field
• Experience in auditing
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy in work
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
