Location: Bay City, MI (with service to surrounding communities)
Employment Type: Full-Time
Key Responsibilities
· Originate first mortgages, refinances, home equity loans, and related mortgage products
· Build and maintain strong relationships with members, realtors, builders, and community partners
· Guide members through the entire mortgage process with clarity, care, and professionalism
· Analyze application information to determine creditworthiness and product suitability
· Ensure compliance with all lending regulations, policies, and underwriting standards
· Participate in community outreach and represent Sunrise Family Credit Union at local events
· Meet or exceed loan volume and quality goals while maintaining superior service
Qualifications
· Minimum 2–3 years of mortgage lending experience required
· Strong knowledge of mortgage products, underwriting, and regulatory guidelines
· Proven track record of loan production and relationship building
· Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and customer service skills
· Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
· Familiarity with LOS and automated underwriting systems preferred
· NMLS registration required or transfer of registration required.
