Minimum 1+ years Paraprofessional or Special Education experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An opportunity is available for experienced paraprofessionals to provide essential support for students with behavioral challenges within a school district near Warren, MI. This onsite contract role spans from ASAP through June 11, 2026, with a commitment of 35 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver instructional and behavioral assistance to students through 1:1 or classroom settings.
- Implement and support behavior intervention plans effectively.
- Foster academic engagement and address individual student needs.
- Collaborate closely with teachers and support staff to promote a safe and productive learning environment.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum of one full school year of direct experience working with students who have behavioral challenges and special needs.
- Must meet at least one of the following educational requirements: Minimum of 60 college credits Associate degree or higher Passing score on the ParaPro Assessment
- CPI Certification is preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to provide two professional references from managers.
- Updated resume ready for review.
Location: Assigned within the school district near Warren, MI (specific locations to be determined).
