Remote Billing Specialist
Job Overview
We’re looking for a detail‑oriented Billing Specialist to support our finance team in a fully remote capacity. This role focuses on preparing invoices, reviewing account information, resolving billing issues, and ensuring accurate financial records. It’s a great fit for someone who enjoys organized, numbers‑focused work and communicates clearly with both customers and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and send invoices accurately and on schedule
- Review billing data for errors or missing information
- Process payments and update account records
- Communicate with clients regarding billing questions or discrepancies
- Work with internal departments to resolve issues quickly
- Maintain organized digital files and financial documentation
- Follow company procedures for confidentiality and compliance
- Assist with basic reporting and month‑end tasks as needed
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (additional education is a plus)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Comfortable working independently and managing deadlines
- Basic knowledge of billing, accounting, or administrative work
- Reliable internet connection and a quiet workspace
