Serving as a Pharmacist in a behavioral health setting, this per diem opportunity is ideal for professionals seeking a consistent, part-time schedule with focus on quality patient care. The position requires coverage every Friday or Monday, providing essential pharmacy support in a specialized clinical environment.
Responsibilities include staffing the pharmacy, managing inventory through stocking, and approving medication orders with precision and compliance. This role involves utilizing HCS for order entry and operating Med-dispense automation systems, with prior experience in these areas preferred to ensure seamless workflow efficiency.
Schedule:
- Onsite coverage every Friday or Monday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
- On-call availability from 5:00 AM to 8:00 AM and 4:30 PM to 7:30 PM on the assigned day
Qualifications:
- Valid Michigan pharmacy license is required
- Prior pharmacy experience, ideally within behavioral health or retail settings
- Familiarity with HCS order entry system and Med-dispense automation highly desirable
