Developer

Akkodis is seeking a Developer for a Contract with a client in Dearborn, MI(Hybrid). You will be responsible for building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, automating infrastructure provisioning, and ensuring robust configuration management across environments.

Rate Range: $45/hour to $53/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Developer job responsibilities include:

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub Actions for automated build and deployment processes.

• Manage containerized applications with Kubernetes and Docker, ensuring scalability and reliability.

• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform and Ansible across cloud environments (primarily GCP).

• Ensure version control and configuration management by leveraging GitHub and ClearCase/SVN for code and build artifacts.

• Monitor and optimize system performance, troubleshoot deployment issues, and maintain high availability of services.

• Collaborate with development teams to integrate DevOps best practices and support embedded software development workflows.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (master’s preferred).

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps, CI/CD, and cloud infrastructure.

• Proven expertise in Kubernetes, Docker, GCP, Ansible, Terraform, GitHub, Jenkins, and Python.

• Strong experience in configuration management tools and version control systems (ClearCase/SVN), with ability to write scripts for automation.

Pay Details: $45.00 to $53.00 per hour
