Then you might be the person we are looking for! We are looking for a Heat Treat Operator who will report to our Production Supervisor.

In this role you will perform a variety of tasks to support the facility and its production and repair of products ensuring the proper marking of components to maintain information and traceability.

This role will be based on-site at our Clinton, PA facility near the PIT Airport. Relocation is not being offered for this position.

Your profile consists of the following areas of experience, knowledge, and responsibility:

  • Read and understand drawings and procedures to determine the type of Heat Treat and machine operation required.

  • Determine what Furnace or equipment to utilize.

  • Setting up the furnace and other equipment to Heat Treat parts or material to the proper specification.

  • Organize the workflow to ensure jobs are performed in the correct sequence Heat Treat parts or material to specifications listed in the Heat Treat Codes work instruction.

  • Set up and adjust manual equipment to achieve necessary outputs.

  • Monitor equipment condition and replace as necessary.

  • Watching gauges, dials, or other indicators to make sure a machine is working properly and verifying that the product produced is in accordance with specifications

  • Observe and listen to operating machines or equipment in order to determine need for adjustments or repairs.

  • Performing routine checks on machine operation and keeping work area clean and organized.

  • Operate other associated equipment to support Heat Treat Process.

  • Assist other departments when Heat Treat queue is empty, or when determined necessary by management.

  • This list is not all inclusive and may include other duties as assigned and necessary for the operation and management of the business.


Requirements & Desired Characteristics:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Minimum of 1 years' experience working in a manufacturing preferred

  • Strong attention to detail, particularly with drawings and procedures

  • Organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities

  • Effective communication skills across departments

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems

  • Problem-solving mindset and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Ability to manage time-sensitive tasks with accuracy

  • Professional demeanor when interacting with others

  • Work is performed in a production plant environment with limited exposure to elements such as dust, noise, fumes or temperature changes, and with limited exposure to mechanical, electrical, fire, chemical, or other hazards.

  • Work involves frequent lifting of materials up to 50 pounds and use of cranes for parts weighing over 50 pounds.
