We’re looking for an Accounting Assistant to join our growing team and play a key role in supporting the financial operations of both our corporate offices and medical managed properties. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a collaborative team while building your accounting expertise in a dynamic environment.
What You’ll Do
As an Accounting Assistant, you’ll handle accounts receivable and accounts payable tasks while working closely with Staff Accountants and Property Managers. Your responsibilities will include:
Accounts Receivable: Receive, record, and deposit payments across all properties using remote deposit, mobile banking apps, and lockbox websites.
Accounts Payable: Enter invoices, process payables for a property portfolio, and collaborate with Property Managers to secure invoice approvals.
Payment Processing: Manage bi-monthly check runs to ensure timely vendor payments.
Year-End Responsibilities: Assist in preparing and filing year-end 1099s by required deadlines.
Additional Support: Provide administrative accounting support as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
What We’re Looking For
Education & Experience: Associate’s degree and prior accounting experience required; real estate or property management experience is a plus.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in spreadsheet programs and business software; Yardi experience highly valued.
Customer Focus: Commitment to delivering excellent internal and external customer service with professionalism and responsiveness.
