Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A K-12 school in Redford, MI, is seeking a skilled School Psychologist to join their team for the uping school year on a contract basis. This role provides an excellent opportunity to support students through psychological assessments, interventions, and collaborative strategies within a dynamic educational environment.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting psychological evaluations and assessments for students K-12.
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Providing counseling and crisis intervention services as needed.
- Participating in multidisciplinary meetings to support student academic and emotional development.
- Maintaining prehensive records and ensuring pliance with state and federal regulations.
Desired qualifications:
- Valid School Psychologist certification or licensure.
- Experience working in K-12 educational settings.
- Strong assessment and diagnostic skills.
- Effective munication and collaboration abilities.
- Knowledge of special education laws and best practices.
